Maori and Pacific Island Celebration Awards Evening

The 2014 Awards Evenings got underway last night in the School Hall in fine style, with the Maori and Pacific Island Celebration Awards Evening honouring the successes and contributions of our Maori and Pasifika students.  The audience had the privilege of watching proud, stirring performances by the Polynesian Culture Group, musicians Cornerstone Roots, the combined HBHS and HGHS Kapa Haka Group, and newly-formed musical group Maorilicious Flow.  Our Maori and Pasifika students received awards for their academic achievements, sporting successes and extensive service contributions to our school, and we proudly present the full list of nominees, finalists and winners:
