Young Farmers Oh So Close at National Competition

HBHS is rapidly accumulating a range of impressive results in the Teen Ag Competition, which leads into the New Zealand Young Farmers Programme, and over the July holiday break HBHS students Cory Jones and Graham Johnson came very close to defending the national title won in 2013 by James Robertson and Regan Kidd, finishing second in Christchurch.  James was involved in the judging at the competiton, and was recognised as the top judge as part of this competition.  Teen Ag meets regularly in the Study Centre, so if you are interested in being involved, watch out for meetings advertised in the Daily Notices or see Mrs Ross in the Careers Centre for more information.
