Friends of the School

The Hamilton Boys' High School Foundation is inviting membership to its Friends of the school programme:

Foundation Goals

The Foundation is committed to raising $5 million over the next three years so that we can continue to develop the infrastructure we need for our boys over and above that which we can achieve solely with Government funding. Funds raised by the Foundation will be used to develop the following resources:

  • Academy of Sport, Fitness & Training Centre
  • Information Technology Library Extension
  • Landscaping
  • Development of the School Gates & Front Entrance
  • Wharenui
  • Focused Learning Centre
  • Student Services Centre

We recognise that support for these projects will come from a variety of sources and for a variety of reasons. Our role will be to ensure that the wishes and expectations of our major supporters are respected and met while ensuring that we maintain the integrity of the school. The following opportunities exist to help Hamilton Boys' High School achieve its current goals.

Sponsorship
Sponsorship opportunities are available at varying levels.

Naming Rights
Some of the projects may become available for naming rights on application to the Hamilton Boys' High School Foundation and approval by the Board of Trustees.

Personal Donations
People often wish to make personal donations. In such cases the wishes of the individual in recognition of their support will be taken into account.

Annual Subscriptions
Sponsorships and donations can be spread over time rather than being made in a lump sum. In recognising your support, the value of the total amount will be taken into account.

Bequests
The school gratefully acknowledges the support of the estates of a number of individuals whose families have close links with the school.

Support in Kind
The projects will require many resources. We welcome the support of those who may be able to provide goods and services. Recognition will be based on the level of support which can be provided.

Fundraising Programmes
The Foundation will seek the support of the school's various communities to help raise funds for particular projects.

The Foundation is committed to keeping the school community informed about its progress and to providing you with opportunities to assist in the achievement of these goals. Joining the Friends of the School programme will ensure you are kept fully informed about the Foundation's activities and progress.
