Sports Round Up

It was a very successful first set of holidays for our HBHS athletes.  Not only did we win that historic first ever NZSS Water Polo title, but our Ki-O-Rahi team finished third equal in New Zealand at the NZSS Championships held in Waitangi.  Rowers Adam Wilson, Toby Smith, Ethan Johnson and coxswain Oliver Duncan were selected for the North Island Under 18 squad, and our 1st Football team went though their holiday competitions undefeated.  Our 1st XI Hockey team lost to the Women's Black Sticks, but won the ANZAC Tournament, and the Senior and Junior Basketball teams won their tip-off tournaments.

The 1st XI and 2nd XI Football teams are in action again this Saturday the 8th of May, playing in the College Day Tournament out at St Peter's Cambridge for most of the day, and the 1st XV have their first big hit out of 2021 against St Paul's Collegiate, at St Paul's at 12pm.  Our teams would love to see you on the sidelines cheering them on as we launch our winter sports season.
