Swimming Sports 2020

This summer has been a record-breaker in terms of temperatures, so the HBHS Swimming Sports Day of 2020 provided us all with a welcome opportunity to head to the pool and cool off.  Records aplenty were also broken in the water, with six new fastest times being set in competition racing.  The big winner on the day was Wilson House who surged ahead of the other Houses to take the first event of the year by nearly 100 points.  Steel proved that last year may not have been a fluke, finishing in second, and last year’s front-runner, Taylor House, followed in third.  The Mighty (Argyle)House in BlackTM was delighted with their fourth place, and Tait and Baigent, once again, have left themselves with ground to make up.  Congratulations and thank you to Mr Jeremy Quigley and his 12PY students on an excellent day of competition, and to Mr Rahiti Teokotai-White and his 12PY boys on their running of the championship prelims.
