Our HBHS Swimming team got us off to a brilliant start in Summer Tournament Week.
The Summer Tournament Week 2023 results started coming in the weekend before it officially started on Monday the 27th of March, and we have a new National Champion to congratulate. Year 13 distance swimmer Quinn Boyle won two gold medals, in the 500m overall event, and the overall Tri-Aquathon, where he swam for 1.7kms, ran for 3km, and then swam again for 500m. Quinn also won silver in the 15-19 years 3.5km swim. Year 10 student Orlando Hardie won a bronze medal in the 1000m overall and finished third overall in the 15-19 years age group. Congratulations to our talented distance swimmers, and we look forward to celebrating your successes as a school. Kia kaha!
