The lion represents courage - having the strength of character to be the very best one can be, recognising the responsibility we have to stand for what is right and good.
The star represents excellence - the virtue of arete, of striving to be the very best one can be, in every part of our journey.
The sash, through the middle of the crest, represents the love and care we must feel for each other, and which we must demonstrate through our focus on service to others.
