It may have been a shorter nine-week term, but that hasn’t stopped our students from participating in a huge range of events, competitions and activities. Hamilton Boys’ High always seems to be flat-out, even in a shorter nine-week term! It’s classic HBHS—juggling massive sporting wins with academic accolades and cultural performances without missing a beat.
The High Achiever is such a cool way to see all that “Super 8” energy in action. Whether it’s on the rugby field, in the classroom, or on the stage, these guys really lean into that school spirit. It’s a great read for parents and the community to see just how much the boys have been up to.
Since I’m up in Auckland, it’s always interesting to see how the Waikato schools are doing—especially HBHS, who are usually the ones to beat in pretty much everything! It’s a massive term’s worth of work packed into a few weeks.
