Enrolments

Hamilton Boys’ High School welcomes applications from both In-Zone and Out-of-Zone students. We operate under an enrolment scheme that determines eligibility for enrolment.

All students living in the school zone are eligible to attend Hamilton Boys’ High School (unless they have been excluded from another school). Students living outside the school zone can apply through a Ballot process. A Ballot is held annually to determine which of these students can be given the right to enrol for the following year.

Important Dates for 2027 Enrolment

2nd June - Enrolments for 2027 open
10th June - Information Evening (6pm)
16th June - HBHS Open Day (9.30am & 1.30pm)
28th August - Yr9 Enrolments close
4th September - Yr9 Ballot takes place
6th November - Yr10-13 Enrolments close
13th November - Yr10-13 Ballot takes place
